Notice is hereby given that the 2020 Annual General Meeting of the BC Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Practitioners will be held:

February 07, 2021

Time: TBD

MEETING WILL BE HELD VIRTUALLY

ALL MEMBERS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND, ATTENDANCE IS FREE OF CHARGE

BOARD CANDIDATE NOMINATIONS ARE DUE NOVEMBER 30

 

The COVID-19 pandemic initially caused considerable disruption to the TCM and acupuncture profession in B.C., so the Board of Directors of the ATCMA adjusted its focus from regular membership support and promotion of the profession, to helping fellow practitioners navigate the new practice environment.

As such, our AGM for 2020 has been postponed to February 2021.  This allows additional time for nominations of Board candidates and voting, all of which will be done virtually.

 

 

BOARD OF DIRECTOR CANDIDATE NOMINATIONS:

A total of 11 positions are up for election.  The current president’s term is ending, so ATCMA members will be electing a new president to continue leading the Association.

 

To become a candidate for the 2021 Board of Directors of the ATCMA, please mail or email the completed nomination form with your one page bio (ideally in English and Chinese) to the ATCMA Office (info@atcma.org) by 6:00 p.m. on November 30, 2020 (Monday).

 

VOTING:

Voting will be open December 1, 2020 to February 1, 2020.

While we encourage virtual voting, mail-in ballots are also be available upon request.  Please contact the ATCMA office if you would like a mail-in ballot.

 

 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • A brief educational seminar will be conducted prior to the AGM. Teresa Ciolfitto from ICBC will discuss the updates to the ICBC HCPIR that will be launched in April 2021.
  • The agenda and other documents will be emailed to attendees in advance.
  • Virtual voting instructions and links will be sent out prior to December 1, 2020.
  • The Zoom link for the meeting will be sent by email by February 1, 2021.

理事会候选人提名表格提交将截止于11月30日

 

由于新冠疫情起初对卑诗省的中医及针灸专业造成了严重破坏，ATCMA理事会决定将重点从常规会员支持和专业推广调整到为帮助同业执业人员适应新的实践环境。
因此，我们的2020年会员年度大会已推迟至2021年2月，以便为理事会候选人的提名和投票预留出更多时间。 期间，所有工作以网络操作的方式完成。

 

理事会候选人提名:

 

我们的理事会有一共有11位理事职位可竞选，由于现任会长的服务届期即将结束，因此今年的大会我们将会新选一位会长继续带领公会走向更繁荣的未来。
如若有兴趣成为候选人来竞选ATCMA 2021理事会，请会员们在下午6:00，11月30号之前将填妥完整的提名表以及您的个人简介（不超过一页，并最好包括中英文）邮寄或通过电子邮件发送给ATCMA办公室（info@atcma.org）。

 

投票:

 

投票将在2020年12月1日开始到2020年2月1日结束。

我们虽然鼓励各位会员使用网络投票，您也可选择邮寄的方式来进行投票， 请您联系ATCMA办公室（info@atcma.org）询问邮寄选票详情。

  • 在年度ATCMA会员大会之前， 我们将举行简短的继续教育讲座， ICBC 的Teresa Ciolfitto将讨论将于2021年4月发布的ICBC HCPIR 的更新
  • 年度会员大会议程和其相关文件将提前通过电邮方式发给参会者。
  • 网络投票的操作说明及相关链接将在12月1日之前发出。
  • 年度会员大会的Zoom链接将在2021年2月份通过电邮方式发出。
