Reporting (HCPIR) System

At the end of February, the ICBC HCPIR will incorporate some important changes. Join this session to be
among the first health care professionals to learn about the changes and understand how it will affect
your ICBC billing and documentation procedures.

Teresa Ciolfitto, Business Process Advisor for Claims Programs, Stakeholder Strategy and Reporting
will lead a presentation on key changes to the HCPIR that will streamline billing and change the way that
requests for extension of treatment are requested and evaluated. In particular, she will discuss the shift
from Extension Requests to Treatment Plans and what ICBC needs to see from acupuncturists to help
ensure your requests to extend treatment are approved.
