There is a significant "power differential" between our profession and our now fellow professions within the CCHPBC: RMTs, NDs, DCs. They are better funded and have been at the lobbying game longer than we. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") govern the use of atma.org (the "Site"). This Site is owned and operated by ATCMA. This Site is an ecommerce website.

By using this Site, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.

Subscriptions and Renewal Policy

Membership with the British Columbia Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Practitioners (ATCMA) is offered on an annual subscription basis. Practitioner, Supporting, and Student memberships are set to automatically renew each year to ensure uninterrupted access to member benefits, professional resources, advocacy support, and insurance discounts.

By enrolling in a membership subscription, members authorize automatic annual renewal using the payment method on file. Prior to the renewal date, our secure external payment provider will issue an automated email reminder notifying members of the upcoming charge. This advance notice provides the opportunity to review, update, or cancel the subscription before the renewal is processed.

Members who wish to cancel their subscription may do so by emailing info@atcma.org before the renewal date. Once a renewal payment has been processed, membership fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

Intellectual Property

All content published and made available on our Site is the property of ATMA and the Site's creators. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site.

Acceptable Use

As a user of our Site, you agree to use our Site legally, not to use our Site for illegal purposes, and not to:

  • Harass or mistreat other users of our Site;
  • Violate the rights of other users of our Site;
  • Violate the intellectual property rights of the Site owners or any third party to the Site;

We reserve the right to modify, reject or cancel your order whenever it becomes necessary. If we cancel your order and have already processed your payment, we will give you a refund equal to the amount you paid. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund.
