The ATCMA has been hard at work behind the scenes, and we’re excited to launch a special contest just for our members! See below for how to enter. Contest runs until July 31, 2025.
Last year, we unveiled our brand-new website—a much-needed update that has given us a better platform to serve the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture community in British Columbia. Along with the new site came changes to how members sign up and manage their accounts. While these improvements were essential, we recognize that the transition hasn't been seamless. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our members for your patience and support as we’ve worked to resolve the hiccups and streamline the process.
To celebrate how far we've come—and to help everyone get the most out of the new website—we’re inviting members to log into their accounts, choose to OPT IN (i.e. choose YES) to have your profile show up publicly, and update your profile pages. We want the public to know all about TCM, so our Find a Practitioner page is one way for us to connect with them.
Here’s how to enter:
Log in to your ATCMA account. Not sure how to do that or having problems? Check out our FAQ page for possible solutions. Or contact us here.
Go to the "Hi [practitioner name]" icon at the top right corner.
Click on My account.
In the panel on the left, click on Business. Here you can update your profile picture, your biography, your practitioner information, your clinic address, and your contact information, including email, phone, and website.
Choose "yes" or "no" to whether you'd like your profile to show up publicly.
You'll need to change this image (which is the default for all accounts) from this:
to this:
Hit "refresh" on your browser window after you choose Yes, and it should show up correctly. You can also click on the Live Profile Page button to preview what your personal clinic page will look like.
6. Last step: Enter all the information you'd like to show up publicly about your practice/business. Make sure to add your biography (here you may add in extra clinics, if you work at more than one), and make sure to click "Update" for each section. Note that this information will show publicly on the Find A Practitioner page. You can preview how your profile page will show up by clicking on the "Live Profile Page" button. You can also go to the webpage "Find a Practitioner" and search for yourself by city, name, or designation to see what the public will see.
That’s it! Once your profile is updated, you’ll automatically be entered into our Update & Win draw. Not only does this give you a chance to win some great prizes, but it also helps the ATCMA build a more connected, visible, and professional TCM community.
